Note from Desanto's: We've checked out all 4 of these hotels and they are next door or across the street from each other. The Best Western & Park Plaza are both larger hotels, with all the usual things one might find at these type of chain hotels. The Log Lodge and The America Inn are more motel like, with basic clean rooms and fewer extras. But the owners are on site and are very welcoming. They are all 3 miles from Circus World Museum. There are multiple fast food restaurants, cafes and grocery stores walking distance from all these hotels.

Tentative Events:

Other ideas floating around are workshops, an auction and more than a few suprises.
Suggestions are always welcome.

One idea that has been brought up is to create a Clown College Archive that could live at Circus World Museum in their Library & Research Center. The success of this project depends on what we as a group bring to it. So, if anyone attending, or if not being able to attend, but want to contribute, would like to scan to disc photos of their year at Clown College, or time on the road and donate this to the project, I would be willing to coordinate the photos and related items. Other things could be video tapes, DVD's, programs, class yearbooks, and anything related to your time in Clown College or on the road. I would not risk sending originals of anything. For more details contact Greg DeSanto.

This Clown College Archive would then be on loan to Circus World Museum and available to anyone who might want to do research on the 30 years of it's existence.

The success of this reunion depends on getting the word out to all Clown College alumni, road clowns past & present, CC faculty and anyone else that was involved with Clown College during the 30 years of it's existence. Help get the word out! Working off the various address lists from the 2001 Vegas and Mrytle Beach reunions is a start, but anyone who would like to send their current mailing address to us via e-mail, we will be putting together an updated mailing list for this reunion and future get-togthers and information sharing.
